Activity Hubs

Active Streets events feature distinct Activity Hubs with a diverse array of community groups, vendors and exhibitors, performing and visual artists, free games and other activities.

Event Hubs and Locations:

South Pasadena Hub: Mission Street between Meridian Avenue and Fremont Avenue
Alhambra Hub: Main Street between 3rd Street and Garfield Avenue
San Gabriel Hub: Mission Drive between Broadway and Mission Road

Event Hours

No Parking Enforcement: 12:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Cars may not park on the event route)

Street Closure Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

626 Golden Street Event Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Street Closures

Streets will be fully closed to cars by 5:00 AM, and no vehicles or on-street parking will be allowed on the route. Cars can cross at various major intersections (see map below), but expect delays on nearby streets if you must drive or travel by bus that day. The streets will re-open to cars by approximately 3:00 PM If you live or work on the route, you'll need to park your car elsewhere before the event, as all driveways on the route will be blocked. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter or exit the route during the event hours, except at designated crossing points.

Vehicle Access

Alternate routes including crossings for motor vehicles. There are a number of streets along the event route where vehicles will be able to cross the route.

Parking

On event day, NO PARKING will be allowed from 12:00 AM – 3:00 PM along the event route. Please plan ahead and park away from the route, if needed. Please check posted parking restrictions in your neighborhood.

Driveway Access

Please be aware that all driveways on the route will be blocked and inaccessible starting at 5 AM on event day. If your vehicle is parked in your driveway and you need to use it after 5:00 AM, please park elsewhere as the vehicle will be inaccessible until the route reopens. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter or exit the route during the event.
